Our 1950s style pencil skirts are carefully designed to make the very most of your dangerous curves. Wearing one you can be a rockabilly femme fatale or a girl-next-door, or whichever takes your fancy at the time! Available in a range of plain fabrics, as well as authentic tweed-look and prince of wales checked cloth, each one is cut to make the most of your waist and hips, so do ensure you measure yourself carefully for the most flattering fit. You’ll be a picture if you pair your skirt with one of our alluring halterneck tops. Accessorise with a hairflower and an air of innocence… or a knowing smile! As all our clothes, these skirts are made right here in England.

To avoid disappointment please follow these simple instructions.
- BUST (1)
Please measure around the fullest part of your bust. The style will allow for a couple of inches either way. This is NOT your bra size
- WAIST (2)
Please measure tightly around the narrowest part of your body. This is usually the measurement that decides which size you will buy. You can allow for a few inches difference on the bust measurement before you have to deviate from your waist measurement.
- HIPS (3)
Please measure around the fullest part of your hips.
If you follow these instructions you should be able to find your perfect size. The waist is the most important measurement to take accurately, to ensure a flattering fit. If you’re still in any doubt, please do visit our boutique in Holloway Road to be measured in person by one of our friendly and helpful shop assistants.

Here’s another Darling for Daytime, and you’re simply going to love her! Runaround Sue is a casual little number for work and play, with some marvellous authentic touches.
With her cap sleeves, lightly nipped waist and a winged collar leading to a narrow V-neck, Runaround Sue is sure to be popular with you gals about town! She’s practical aswell as pretty, with some deep, piped pockets and front pleats on the A-line skirt to allow for plenty of movement.
